About the Art This piece was originally created as part of my Call of the Wild collection, for a group show Clay in Colour. Call of the Wild draws its inspiration from my home base of Squamish, BC, where the surrounding mountains make me feel embraced by their majestic presence. As someone who has a deep affinity for animals, I often incorporate them into my illustration work. In this collection, I envisioned a world where animals towered like mountains, serving as guardians of the environment and nurturing the land to ensure a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
